It is implied she could have experienced something to do with Charlie's demise after she returned to their Paris hotel to discover him showering with another lady. In the semi-fantasy sequence finale "Of Course He's Dead", it is exposed that Rose lied about Charlie's loss of life. Rose reveals the truth to them prior to departing the Malibu property to escape whichever vengeance Charlie has planned for her. Usually uninvited, she enters and exits Charlie's property by climbing onto the yard deck, rather than applying the entrance door. Rose continues to stalk Walden as nicely as the Harpers, despite Charlie's death. Rose acknowledges that she is "boundary challenged", although Charlie and Alan refer to her as Charlie's stalker. Rose (Melanie Lynskey frequent in seasons 1-2 recurring in seasons 3-7, 9-10 and twelve visitor in seasons eight and 11) is the Harpers' wealthy neighbor and Charlie's stalker. In season 9, Rose reveals that she and Charlie obtained engaged in Paris.
